Broom Queens Cleaning Services – Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of Services

Broom Queens provides professional cleaning services tailored to residential and commercial needs. Standard services include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of accessible floor areas. Stain removal and high dusting are available only as part of deep cleaning packages or when explicitly added to the service agreement. All services are performed using non-abrasive tools and eco-friendly products unless otherwise requested.

2. Client Responsibilities

Clients must ensure that service areas are accessible, safe, and free of excessive clutter. Pets should be secured during service hours. Fragile or valuable items should be removed from cleaning zones. Broom Queens is not liable for damage to unsecured or pre-existing compromised items.

3. Access and Entry

Clients must provide timely access to the property. If access is delayed or denied, a rescheduling fee may apply. Entry via key, code, or third-party access must be documented and authorized in advance. Broom Queens maintains strict confidentiality and security protocols.

4. Scheduling and Cancellations

Appointments are confirmed in advance. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled time. Cancellations within 12 hours may incur a fee of up to 50% of the service rate. Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in suspension of service.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit cards, Zelle, PayPal, and approved invoicing platforms. Late payments may incur a $15 administrative fee and delay future bookings.

6. Service Guarantee

We stand behind our work. If any area is missed or unsatisfactory, clients must notify us within 24 hours for a complimentary touch-up (limited to the original scope of work). Additional services or areas not included in the initial agreement may be subject to extra charges.

7. Liability and Limitations

Broom Queens is insured and follows safety protocols. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, loose flooring, improperly installed fixtures, or hazardous conditions. Heavy furniture or appliances over 25 lbs will not be moved unless pre-approved. Services do not include mold remediation, pest control, or biohazard cleanup.

8. Privacy and Conduct

Client information is kept confidential and used solely for service coordination. Our team maintains professionalism and courtesy at all times. Any form of harassment, unsafe conditions, or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate termination of service.

9. Policy Updates

Terms and Conditions are subject to change. Updates will be posted on our website or sent via email. Continued use of services after updates constitutes acceptance of revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state or jurisdiction in which services are rendered. Any disputes shall be resolved through mediation or small claims court unless otherwise agreed.

Disputes and Insurance Claims

Broom Queens Cleaning Services is committed to delivering high-quality service and maintaining transparency in all client interactions. In the event of a dispute or concern regarding service delivery, clients are encouraged to contact our team within 24 hours of service completion to initiate a resolution process. We will make every reasonable effort to address concerns promptly and professionally.

Broom Queens maintains general liability insurance to cover accidental damage directly caused by our staff during the course of service. However, claims must be submitted in writing within 72 hours of the incident, accompanied by relevant documentation (e.g., photos, receipts, or repair estimates). Claims related to pre-existing damage, unsecured items, or conditions outside the scope of agreed services will not be honored.

By engaging our services, clients acknowledge that:

  • Broom Queens is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • Insurance coverage does not extend to high-value items not disclosed prior to service.

  • Disputes will be resolved through direct communication, and if necessary, through mediation or small claims court in the jurisdiction where services were rendered.

This disclaimer is subject to updates and may vary based on local regulations and insurance provider terms.

Hoarder Disclaimer

Broom Queens Cleaning Services is committed to providing safe, respectful, and high-quality service to all clients. In cases where a property exhibits signs of hoarding or extreme clutter, the following terms apply:

  • Assessment Required: Properties with excessive accumulation of items, blocked access points, or unsanitary conditions may require a preliminary walkthrough or virtual assessment before service is confirmed.

  • Service Limitations: Our team does not provide trash hauling, pest control, mold remediation, or biohazard cleanup. If such conditions are present, services may be postponed or declined until appropriate remediation is completed.

  • Safety and Equipment: For safety reasons, our staff will not move or clean around unstable piles, blocked exits, or areas with visible hazards. Additional PPE (personal protective equipment) may be required and billed separately.

  • Pricing Adjustments: Hoarding conditions may significantly increase labor time, disposal needs, and equipment usage. Final pricing will be adjusted accordingly and must be approved by the client prior to service.

  • Respectful Communication: We approach all clients with dignity and discretion. Our team is trained to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times. We do not label or diagnose hoarding behavior; our focus is on service feasibility and safety.

By booking with Broom Queens, clients acknowledge that services may be modified, rescheduled, or declined based on the condition of the property and the safety of our team.
